Nations FC and Hearts of Oak played out a goalless draw at the Dr Kwame Kyei Stadium in Abrankese on Sunday afternoon, with both teams failing to find a winning touch despite their efforts.
Nations FC, fresh from a victory over Aduana, dominated possession with 55% compared to Hearts’ 45%. However, the Phobians, buoyed by their first win of the season against Bechem United, showed more attacking intent, registering 14 goal attempts to Nations’ 11.
The match saw both sides test the goalkeepers equally, with four shots on target and four crucial saves made on either side. Despite these opportunities, neither team could break the deadlock, leaving them to share the points.
Up next, Nations FC will take on Dreams FC, while Hearts of Oak prepare for a challenging clash against Aduana Stars.
