Four people have been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Nyankpala, Northern Region, that left one person dead and another injured.
Alhaji Bashiru Mohamed, Majid Issah, Yakubu Simalia, and Fodi Issiage Kamara are the four individuals.
According to a brief statement from the police, the deceased’s body has been taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy, while the injured victim is presently receiving medical attention.
The suspects are helping the police with their investigation and are currently being held.
