The Ghana Change Makers Awards, a platform dedicated to recognizing outstanding Ghanaian youth and adults across various sectors, has held its annual ceremony at the CLOSAG Headquarters in Accra.
Speaking at the event, Osman Nuhu, CEO of Apex African Concept and founder of the Ghana Change Makers Awards, emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating individuals driving change in sports, entertainment, business, and other sectors.
“Some of these individuals are underappreciated and often give up. The Ghana Change Makers Awards is here to reward their efforts and motivate them to continue impacting society positively. Just like international awards such as the Grammys, recognition boosts credibility and opens doors for nominees,” he said.
He further noted that awards like this serve as a catalyst for growth and motivation while fostering peace and unity, which are crucial for societal progress.
“Without peace, we cannot thrive or host initiatives like this. Next year, we aim to elevate the awards, improving the experience for nominees and the entire nation.”
