The newly appointed Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Titus Glover, has conducted a thorough inspection of ongoing projects across the Accra Metropolis aimed at enhancing the city’s infrastructure and services.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Elizabeth Sackey, the Regional Minister meticulously assessed the status of projects including the completed new building for the Independence Avenue Cluster Schools and the new AMA Sanitation Court at the Old AMA Office as well as the Opera Square, designated for a pending Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Project.
Speaking in an interview with the media after the inspection, the Regional Minister expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Accra and the Bank of Ghana for their roles in facilitating the construction and remodelling of the Independence Avenue Cluster of Schools, to enhance teaching and learning.
He announced a partnership with the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) to conduct periodic clean-up exercises, particularly in the Central Business District (CBD), to enhance sanitation in Accra and called on residents to collaborate with the government in transforming the city into a cleaner environment.
