Asante Kotoko to return to football after Nana Pooley’s final burial

Asante Kotoko has announced their return to competitive football after a brief hiatus following the passing of their beloved figure, Nana Pooley.

The team resumed training last week and is now set to compete again after Nana Pooley’s final funeral rites on March 6.

Head coach Prosper Ogum is urging his players to dedicate their performances to the late Nana Pooley, saying, “The best way to honor his memory is by working hard, winning games, and securing the league title in his name.”

Kotoko remains focused on their Ghana Premier League title ambitions, and their return to competition will begin after March 6.

The Ghana Premier League clubs have already returned to action, competing in the MTN FA Cup over the weekend, marking their first competitive fixtures since Nana Pooley’s passing.
