The Member of Parliament for Anyaa Sowutuom, Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi claims that the position of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) law makers about Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta hasn’t changed.
He asserts that the NPP MPs continue to support their stance that “Ken Must Go.”
Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi reiterated that he and his colleagues agree that removing the Finance Minister will boost public confidence in the political system and the economy.
“Our stance that Ken must leave hasn’t changed. We think it will increase economic confidence a little bit, and the new leadership will bring unique ideas. We don’t have a grudge against him personally… Everyone believes that the man must leave, “Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi exclusively told Kwaku Owusu Adjei(Patoo) on Accra-based Original TV.
“I think a change in the Finance Ministry will instill some trust in the financial landscape,” he continued.
He made these comments while discussing the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme by the Government of Ghana to secure an IMF bailout for the economy.
