Preparations are underway for the official introduction of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, on Tuesday, July 9, at Kumasi’s Jubilee Park.
This event follows the approval of Dr. Prempeh, also known as Napo, by the NPP National Council as the running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
President Akufo-Addo has formally endorsed the duo, demonstrating his continued trust in their ability to lead the party to victory in the 2024 general elections.
Party faithful, including Gabby Otchere-Darko, have advised Dr. Prempeh to remain focused and supportive of Dr. Bawumia to ensure a successful campaign.
After the ceremony, Dr. Bawumia will embark on a five-region campaign tour, starting in the northern regions, where he will engage with youth, grassroots supporters, and key stakeholders.
