The government’s dedication to constructing an effective railway network, according to Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, goes beyond simple transportation.

“The Nsawam – Accra – Tema railway line is completed and in use,” he stated on Tuesday, July 23, when presenting the mid-year budget review in Parliament.
The construction of the iconic Tema to Mpakadan railway line is 99 percent complete and is expected to be fully completed this year.”
He added that it is anticipated that the Kojokrom-Manso portion would be finished by the end of 2024.
“The Manso – Huni Valley, which includes the extension of the line into the Takoradi Port, is expected to be completed by May 2026.”
Dr. Amin Adam went on to say that the administration is committed to enhancing the nation’s road system.
The building of new highways as well as the renovation and upkeep of existing ones have accomplished this.
According to him, different phases of the nation’s road infrastructure maintenance and repair are complete.
