Samuel Dubik Mahama resigned from his position as Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) on Wednesday, September 25, and David Asamoah was named as his successor.
Prior to this, Asamoah was the Deputy Managing Director overseeing Commercial Services.
His new position is just temporary while the Government of Ghana, ECG’s sole shareholder, makes a decision.
Alexander Afenyo Markin, the ECG’s board chairman, announced the appointment.
