The Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Hon. Elizabeth Kwatsoe Sackey, has expressed satisfaction with the progress of key development projects in the metropolis, including the 70% completion of the Jamestown abattoir and 90% completion of the sanitation court at the AMA’s old office.

The two facilities aim to improve the city’s meat processing standards and sanitation.

The Mayor expressed her satisfaction when she toured project sites on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to inspect work progress.

Mayor Sackey also visited the Ussher Hospital, the Jamestown abattoir, Mamprobi Hospital, and the newly constructed sheds for plantain vendors at the Agbogbloshie Market, where she commended contractors for their work.
