Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII, the paramount chief of the Peki Traditional Area, has praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its social intervention and development programs, emphasizing their beneficial effects on the country.
During a recent visit to his palace by NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII made these remarks.
The chief commended the government’s work, highlighting advancements in social welfare, education, health, and infrastructure development in particular.
He pointed out that the Peki Traditional Area is among the many communities that have greatly benefited from these programs.
The supreme chief urged his people to adopt government initiatives with pragmatism and an open mind.
He stressed the significance of making well-informed judgments for the progress of their community and advised his members to critically assess the advantages of each effort and support those that match with their development objectives.
“It is my humble observation that this government has done a lot for the country. As a leader of this community, I always tell my people that Ghana is for all of us. Whoever is the leader of Ghana is leading all of us. So if the government brings policies, let us all look at the policies very well and see which ones benefit us, and then we pick from it.”
