The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has announced the 40th edition of National Farmers’ Day, scheduled for November 8, 2024, in the Greater Accra Region.
This year’s theme, “Building Climate-Resilient Agriculture for Sustainable Food Security,” highlights Ghana’s commitment to adopting agricultural practices that effectively address climate change challenges.
“The focus on building climate-resilient agriculture is crucial for ensuring food security and sustainability in Ghana,” a statement from the Ministry noted.
As part of the celebrations, Ghana will host a 5-day National Agricultural Fair, Agrifest Ghana 2024, from November 4-8, 2024.
The event aims to showcase Ghana’s rich agricultural heritage and provide a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation among farmers and stakeholders.
