Mr. Herbert Krapa has been named the substantive Minister for Energy by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, with effect from Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
According to the President, Mr. Krapa, who has been the Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024, is renowned for his outstanding professionalism, diligence, and unwavering dedication to his duties.
The President claims that these attributes have made a substantial contribution to the development and stability of Ghana’s energy industry.
President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in Mr. Krapa’s ability to succeed in this new role and praised him for his leadership and hard work in a statement released by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House.
The President also emphasized that it is anticipated that Mr. Krapa’s appointment will guarantee Ghana’s energy sector’s continuous development and transformation for the country’s benefit.
