The Chairman of Okaikoi South Sub-Metropolitan District Council, Mr. Kortei Quaye has hailed the ongoing District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) Project as a transformative initiative that is significantly improving road conditions in the constituency.
Speaking about the progress and impact of the project during an inspection tour, Mr Quaye noted that the intervention had brought much-needed relief to the residents and changed perceptions about the state of roads in the area.
He explained that before the project, many roads in Okaikoi South were in poor condition, posing challenges to both residents and commuters adding that the introduction of DRIP machines, had led to the reshaping and levelling of several roads.
