Fisherman sentenced to 40 years in prison for robbery and rape

A fisherman who robbed and raped a woman at the Banana Inn in Accra while she was with her two children was given a 40-year prison term.

Emmanuel Tetteh, also known as 666, Escoba, was charged with robbery and entered a not guilty plea in front of an Accra Circuit Court.

Following the trial, the court, presided over by Isaac Addo, found Tetteh guilty and imposed the appropriate sentence.

He was arrested as a result of the phone, which contained a tracking device.

When Tetteh was sentenced, the trial judge took into account how the act was planned.

Again, the accused committed the crime while he was the subject of a separate case at Circuit Court 10 in Accra.
