NHIA Refutes Claims of Recent and ongoing Recruitment Activities

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has categorically refuted recent assertions circulating in some quarters about ongoing or recent recruitment exercises.

The Authority assures the public that NHIA has completed all of its recruitment efforts as of October 2024.

It further said that exercises were conducted in strict adherence to the law, relevant regulations,
procedures, and best practices, ensuring transparency, fairness, and meritocracy.

The NHIA reiterated that appointments and confirmations for director
level positions are sole functions of the Public Services Commission and does not
fall within the purview of the Authority.

The Authority said that it may, however, notify the applicants of such results following receipt of the Public Services Commission’s complete report.

The NHIA cautioned the public against believing any threats or untrue statements about last-minute hiring. It also declared its continued commitment to maintaining the greatest levels of professionalism and honesty in all of our dealings.

The NHIA stated that anyone seeking clarification should get in touch with the agency immediately using our appropriate means of communication.
