Toddler’s life cut short in Asawase-Dagomba Line fire

A fire outbreak at Dagomba Line in Asawase, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, has resulted in the tragic loss of a young life.

The blaze, which occurred on Tuesday, claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy who was trapped in a burning wooden structure.

Eyewitnesses report that the toddler was taking a nap with his 12-year-old sister in their wooden structure home when the fire swept through.

Although the sister managed to escape the inferno, she was unable to wake her younger brother.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, but residents suspect a faulty electrical connection may have sparked the blaze.

Despite efforts by residents to extinguish the fire, they were overwhelmed by the intensity of the flames.

The fire razed the wooden structure, destroying property in its wake.

The charred remains of the 3-year-old boy have since been buried, as authorities launch an investigation into the cause of the fire outbreak.
