Amadu Sorogho, a former member of parliament for the Madina constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has given the public his word that the party will not misuse its parliamentary majority.
Speaking on Adwenepa on Original TV on Tuesday, Amadu Sorogho emphasised that the NDC has responsible and mature leaders who will ensure that the party’s overwhelming numbers in Parliament are used judiciously.
“You can’t just misbehave in the NDC and have nobody bold enough to say anything just because of your proximity to maybe the president or your influence or your number and that is what gives me the assurance that this overwhelming number that we have in Parliament will not be abused,” Amadu Sorogho added.
“Let me reassure everyone that, in contrast to the NPP, the NDC typically has adults present. Those in the NDC never have a free-for-all show. The NDC has an advantage over the NPP because of the adults present.”
