Malik Basintale, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) deputy national communications officer, has been appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the Youth Employment Agency’s (YEA) acting Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment follows the departure of the departing CEO, Kofi Baah Agyepong, who gave the excuse that he had personal obligations and goals to fulfill.
Mr. Basintale, a prominent and influential player in Ghanaian politics, is slated to take office on Monday, January 27, 2025.
In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Basintale thanked President Mahama for the opportunity, pledging his commitment to the role. “Thank you, Mr President, H.E John D. Mahama. We shall not fail you❤️🙏🏽🇬🇭,” he wrote.
