Ghanaians advised to observe International Day of Clean Energy in style

Ghanaians have been advised to really observe and take actions that would benefit the global community in terms of clean energy to help Climate Change.

This advice emanates from the Newsroom of Original TV to advocate for Clean Energy in the quest to celebrate the International Day of Clean Energy.
Clean energy in Ghana is a significant focus for various reasons, both for the country’s development and environmental sustainability. Here are several key points highlighting the importance of clean energy in Ghana:

According to the News team, Ghana has experienced increasing energy demand as its economy grows and access to reliable electricity is crucial for economic development, and a clean energy transition can help meet this demand sustainably.

The team touched on environmental Sustainability which means relying on fossil fuels can lead to significant environmental degradation, including air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions therefore clean energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, offer a way to reduce environmental impact and contribute to global climate goals.

The team observed that abundant renewable resources are in Ghana which is a blessing with significant natural resources for renewable energy, particularly solar and hydropower.Ghana has a high solar insolation level, making solar energy a viable option for widespread implementation.

The team said energy security, job creation and economic growth, decentralization of energy supply, international climate, commitments, innovation and technology transfer, health benefits, promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) are the rewards that a country would get when considered greatly.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CLEAN ENERGY
