The MP for Dome Kwabenya, Faustina Elikplim Akurugu has said that she is committed to improving quality healthcare infrastructure in the Dome Kwabenya constituency.
Addressing the media and people of the town after touring all the health facilities in the constituency , Elikplim Akurugu re- affirmed her commitment to bring the development of the constituency to the next level and better the lives of the constituents.
She was very hopeful that during her time as MP, issues that were detrimental to the constituency’s overall development and progress would be resolved.
Elikplim Akurugu said she had prioritised health and child development, pledging to facilitate the proper upbringing and development of children and tackled the health demand needs of the people.
She indicated that,” she has engaged stakeholders in the sector on ways of improving on their conditions to ensure good and quality healthcare delivery in the constituency.
She stated that said the health needs of the area were paramount for the growth of the economy, hence the need for the government to invest in the sector for improved and sustained health care delivery.
