‘Agenda 111 expected to create 67,000 jobs’-Akufo-Addo

The government’s Agenda 111 Hospital Projects, according to President Akufo-Addo, will, when finished, generate about 67,000 jobs.

President Akufo-Addo underlined the project’s importance by pointing out that each hospital, which may employ more than 100 people, distinguishes Agenda 111 as a revolutionary endeavor.

The government’s commitment to finishing the hospitals was reaffirmed by President Akufo-Addo during the commissioning of the Adansi North Hospital in Fomena, Ashanti Region.

“There’s an average number of 120 workers on each construction site, and when completed, an average of 559 persons will be employed in a district hospital, 1,343 in the regional hospital, and 947 in each psychiatric hospital. This means that 67, 635 people will be employed in the Agenda 111 Hospitals,” President Akufo-Addo assured.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s main project, the Agenda 111 hospital project, intends to greatly improve healthcare accessibility nationwide.

The project was started in 2014, but due to financial difficulties, it was repeatedly postponed. This caused people of the Adansi Traditional Area to become concerned and asked the authorities to make sure the project was finished.
