President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. Frederick Gilbert Addy as the Deputy Chief Executive responsible for Finance and Investment of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
A letter signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, said the appointment takes effect pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
“I am pleased to inform you that the President has appointed you to act as the Deputy Chief Executive responsible for Finance and Investment of the National Health Insurance Authority,” the letter stated.
“Please accept the President’s best wishes,” the letter added, as the President congratulated Mr. Addy on his appointment.
Mr. Addy has been asked to indicate his acceptance or otherwise of the appointment within 14 days of receipt of the letter.
