Akufo-Addo Rallies Support For NAPO’s Vice Presidential Candidature At Prempeh College

President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has urged past present students of Prempeh College to vote in support of the Vice Presidential Candidature of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo).

If elected, Dr. Opoku will be the first old student of the college to serve as the Vice President of the Republic. With a past student having previously served as president in the person of President John Agyekum Kufuor, the school is now left with having past student ascending to the Vice Presidency.

Speaking at the 75th Anniversary and Speech and Prize Giving Day of the school as the guest speaker, President Akufo Addo reminded old and present “Amanfo)” of the pride they will take in the fact their fellow Amanfo) will be the Vice President of Ghana if they vote for his flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The President referred to Dr. Opoku Prempeh as a workaholic, and an excellent politician who together with Dr. Bawumia, will tackle all the infrastructural challenges they have presented to him by the school, but cannot be fulfilled immediately because of the limited time left to him.

“Let me conclude, by urging all of you to support the Vice Presidential candidature of one of your own, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, the Man Napo. A workaholic and an excellent politician, by voting for his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. They together, will tackle all the needs the headmaster has mentioned, which requires extensive work but cannot be completed under the limited time left to me” he said.
