AMA concludes Homowo Clean-Up Exercise: Ga Mantse calls for sustained efforts beyond festival

In a bid to ensure lasting cleanliness in Accra, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has called for sustained efforts beyond the immediate post-Homowo festivities.

The Ga Mantse made the call on Saturday when he embarked on an inspection tour accompanied by senior officers of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC) and Asafoatsemei of the Ga State, to Rawlings Park, CMB, Makola, and Tudu, to assess the progress of the one-month Homowo clean-up initiative in Accra.

He emphasised the importance of continuous sanitation initiatives to maintain the city’s cleanliness.

King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II praised the efforts of Zoomlion Ghana Limited and other stakeholders, urging that the work not be seen as a one-time activity but as an ongoing commitment.
