Appointments Committee to Vet Sam George, Ablakwa, Kofi Adams and Five Others today 

The vetting of seven additional Ministers-designate, including Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Labor, Jobs, and Employment, is set for Thursday, January 30, 2025.

At 8:00 a.m., Mr. Pelpuo will appear before the Parliamentary Appointments Committee.

He will be followed at 9:00 a.m. by the vetting of Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology.

Taking his turn at 10:00 a.m. will be Samuel Nartey George, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations.

The Committee will hear testimony from Kofi Iddie Adams, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, at 11:00 a.m.

At 11:00 a.m., the Committee will hear from Kofi Iddie Adams, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.

At 12:30 p.m., the committee will take a break and reconvene.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Minister Designate, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, will undergo a vetting at 12:30 p.m.

1:30 p.m. is the scheduled vetting time for Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Transportation.

Issifu Seidu, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, will testify before the committee at 2:30 p.m.

The final appointment is at 3:30 p.m. for the vetting of Mrs. Charity Gardiner, Minister Designate for the Ahafo Region.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP – Minister of State for Government Communications at 10:00 a.m.
Joseph Nelson – Minister Designate for the Western Region at 11:00 a.m.
Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, MP – Minister Designate for the Ministry of Health at 12:00 p.m.

Joseph Addae Akwaboa – Minister Designate for the Bono Region at 1:30 p.m.
Francis Owusu Antwi – Minister Designate for the Bono East Region at 2:30 p.m.
Edumoah Ekow Panyin Okyere – Minister Designate for the Central Region at 3:30 p.m.
Puozuing Charles Lwanga – Minister Designate for the Upper West Region at 4:30 p.m.
