Asantewaa Agyekum Vows To Retain Obom Seat For NDC

Beatrice Asantewaa Agyekum has pledged to maximize the fortunes of the opposition NDC during the 2024 elections in the Domeabra-Obom constituency when elected as the party’s parliamentary candidate.

The politician made this promise after filing her nomination at the party’s office on Tuesday.

She said she has served in the party for long and believes this is the time to step into leadership of the NDC in the area.

Known to all in the political landscape, Asantewaa, as she’s affectionately called, is an astute politician who subscribes to the democratic tenets and principles of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She was the Assembly Member for Oblogo-Tetegu Electoral Area of then Ga South Municipal Assembly from 2015 to 2020.

To her, the experience she has gained in Ghanaian politics has propelled her with much in-depth knowledge and understanding about politics and rural development.

She said discipline, probity, accountability, fairness, and transparency are her core values.
