The Acting Director General, Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, welcomed a delegation from AT.
The visit aimed to extend congratulations on his appointment and discuss key issues within the telecommunications industry.
Heading the delegation, AT’s CEO, Leo Skarlatos, conveyed his enthusiasm for Rev. Ing. Fianko’s appointment, describing it as a strong vote of confidence from the industry, given his extensive knowledge and experience.
The discussions centred on pricing strategies, emphasising AT’s competitive rates despite the challenges posed by high operational costs.
Nevertheless, AT reaffirmed its dedication to further reducing prices, particularly in rural areas.
The delegation consisted of Mr. Emmanuel Adjei (Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer), Madam Cynthia Degbor Akafia (Director Legal and Regulatory), Madam Ethel Anamo (Chief Business Officer) and Mr. Emmanuel Owusu (Chief Technical Officer).
