Bantama MP urges support for Bawumia-NAPO ticket

Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Minister of Roads, has endorsed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s favored running mate in the 2024 presidential contest.

The Bantama MP, who is well-known for his significant influence within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), commended Dr. Opoku Prempeh for his commitment and skills, stating that he had a unique combination of diligence, knowledge, and empathy.

“As a friend, brother, and senior colleague, I have witnessed firsthand Dr. Prempeh’s unwavering commitment to our party and country,” Asenso-Boakye stated in a post sighted by Myoriginalonline.com.

The endorsement is a critical step in deciding the party’s leadership slate for the next election, coming as Dr. Bawumia gets ready to promote Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s candidacy to the NPP National Council.
