Bawumia discontinues campaign tour in preparation for manifesto launch

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has decided to put a temporary stop to his “Possibilities Tour” in order to finalize the party’s 2024 platform.

This was disclosed on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in a statement released by the Bawumia Campaign Team and signed by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the team’s director of communications.

“The leader of the New Patriotic Party will, together with the team, spend the next few days preparing and finalising the NPP 2024 Manifesto, which is scheduled to be launched on Sunday, August 18, 2024,” the statement said.

Following the manifesto’s release, Dr. Bawumia will immediately begin his trip, which has been centered on interacting with voters around the nation.

Dr. Bawumia has been able to interact with Ghanaians and talk about the NPP’s future plans thanks to the “Possibilities Tour.”

The NPP flagbearer’s campaign team justified the tour’s halt as a necessary measure to guarantee that the party’s 2024 platform is thorough and takes the public’s main issues into account.

“We urge all Ghanaians to stay with Dr. Bawumia on this exciting journey of unveiling bold solutions for the next chapter of Ghana’s development, which is going to be heavily focused on jobs and businesses. IT IS POSSIBLE!” the statement added.
