John Agyekum Kufour, the former president of Ghana, has called Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the best person to lead the nation at this pivotal juncture.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Kufour affirmed his faith in Bawumia’s leadership and commended his qualities.
The former president believes that Bawumia is the most qualified individual to lead Ghana through its present difficulties because of his experience and vision.
Kufour recalled that he had previously come under fire for calling Dr. Bawumia a “man of destiny.”
He stated that despite some people’s objections and insults to his endorsement, he is unwavering in his support for the present vice president.
Kufour, the former president, reaffirmed his belief in Bawumia’s skills and his preparedness for the presidency.
Mr. Kufour emphasized Bawumia’s record during the conversation, highlighting his creative approach to government and his in-depth knowledge of the nation’s economic environment.
“I was attacked for calling Bawumia ‘a Man of Destiny’ but I know why I said that. I think he’s the best man Ghana needs at this moment in our history. Ghanaians should give Bawumia a chance,” he stated.
