Bawumia joined NPP using fake party card-Asiedu Nketia

Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s National Chairman, has asserted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and his family were once members of the NDC and that Bawumia joined the NPP with a fake party ID card.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia claimed that Bawumia’s family had a long history of affiliation with the NDC while speaking at a campaign stop in Sewua, Ashanti Region.

He mentioned that his mother was an NDC Women’s Organizer for Walewale, his father was the Chairman of the Council of State, and his older brother had previously been Ghana’s Ambassador to Burkina Faso during the administration of the late Prof. John Atta Mills.

Bawumia’s two younger brothers, according to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, applied for jobs in the NDC, including those of parliamentary candidate and District Chief Executive.

He added that Bawumia had been given a scholarship to study overseas thanks to his father’s connections as Chairman of the Council of State, and that after he returned, he was hired by the Bank of Ghana.

“NPP members know that if Dr. Bawumia is elected as President, he will continue to lie, as he has been taught by them to do,” he claimed.
