Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and candidate for president of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is preparing to name four seasoned party veterans as senior campaign advisors in an effort to bolster his candidacy for the upcoming elections.
The four members of the group—Fred Oware, Peter Mac Manu, Anthony Karbo, and Sammi Awuku—are anticipated to support Bawumia’s presidential ambitions by drawing on their vast political experience and electoral campaigns backgrounds.
Three important members of Bawumia’s inner circle—Fred Oware, Sammi Awuku, and Anthony Karbo—are thought to provide a special fusion of fresh enthusiasm and seasoned party knowledge. Bawumia intends to gather a varied team of NPP stalwarts to lead his campaign, as evidenced by his carefully chosen advisors, including election specialist Peter Mac Manu.
Dr. Bawumia is scheduled to submit the National Executive Committee (NEC) with his complete campaign team list on Monday, February 19, 2024, for approval and assessment.
Members of the campaign team headed by Fredrick Opare Ansah, the former MP for Suhum, are also scheduled to receive endorsements from NPP NEC.
