“Black Stars will play their home games in Ghana” – NSA Board Chairman Seth Panwum assures

Seth Panwum Boyoyo, the Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, has announced that the Accra and Cape Coast Stadia are fully prepared to host Category 3 games, pending inspection by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Appearing before the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports on Wednesday, September 25, Boyoyo urged Ghanaians to dismiss rumors suggesting that the Black Stars would play their upcoming home match against Sudan in Togo.

“Please disregard reports of Ghana going to play its games in Togo. This committee should not give its attention to media rumors because we have written to CAF to come and check our alternative venues,” he stated.

He assured the committee that all necessary requirements for both stadia have been met, emphasizing, “All the things CAF told us to do have been completed, and we have invited their inspectors to assess the venues. I can confidently say that once they approve, the Black Stars will play their home games in Ghana.”
