Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, the member of parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, has urged the local populace and youth to maintain composure in the face of recent events.
This comes after the constituency’s youths and residents became enraged and set fire to truck tires at President Mahama’s father’s home, destroying nearby properties, because their MP had not yet been nominated for a ministerial position.
Sulemana expressed his faith in the wisdom and leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama and reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to him in a statement issued on Tuesday, January 21.
“As a loyal and devoted brother of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and a firm believer in his wisdom and experience, I wholeheartedly support his decisions,” he stated.
The MP urged his constituents to support President Mahama’s “reset agenda” and gave them the assurance that, regardless of the position he is given, their concerns would be adequately represented.
