Nana Ato Dadzie, the lawyer representing Oliver Barker-Vormawor, a Ghanaian activist, has provided clarification regarding his client’s recent bribery allegations made on social media.
During an appearance before Parliament’s Appointment Committee, Nana Ato Dadzie stated unequivocally that the allegations were not targeted at the committee.
According to him, Barker-Vormawor’s intention was to expose certain matters, rather than implicate the Appointment Committee.
This clarification aims to provide context to the allegations and potentially alleviate tensions surrounding the issue.
The Appointment Committee had summoned Barker-Vormawor to respond to the bribery allegations, which prompted concerns and debate.
