Bus Stop Boyz, a group of young volunteers, is calling for strict enforcement of sanitation laws to tackle the growing problem of indiscriminate littering in Ghana.
The group, which has gained nationwide recognition for its efforts in cleaning public spaces, such as gutters, and bus stations believes that intensifying the enforcement of sanitation laws is key in maintaining a clean environment.
Speaking to Original News Heneba Kwadwo Sarfo, founder and team lead of Buz Stop Boys, said the enforcement of sanitation laws is key to keeping our environment clean.
“We need to take action against those who litter indiscriminately and make our communities dirty.” He said.
Sarfo made the call during a recent cleaning exercise by the team behind UPSA, Madina on Friday, February 21.
The exercise, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper waste disposal and the need for collective action to keep public spaces clean.a cleaner, healthier environment for all.
