The Office of Cynthia Mamle Morrison, Member of Parliament for Agona West, has debunked reports claiming she has rescinded her decision to contest as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections.
On Tuesday, October 22, the Office of the Agona West MP described the “as false and do not reflect the Hon. MP’s current position or intentions.”
According to the statement, Cynthia Morrison “remains committed to serving the constituents and has made no such announcement retracting their decision to run independently.”
The MP emphasized her dedication to improving lives in Agona West, stating, “Her foremost priority continues to be championing the needs and aspirations of the people… providing sustainable development and inclusive governance.”
The office urged the media and public to disregard “baseless claims” and rely on official statements and verified sources for accurate information.
Cynthia Morrison also cautioned supporters to “remain vigilant and not fall prey to propaganda or false news aimed at misleading the electorate.”
