The CEO of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, has promised to support the Buz Stop Boyz, a youth volunteer organization focused on sanitation.
During a function, Dr. Agyepong addressed his staff and pledged to supply the youth-based sanitation enthusiasts with tools to support their efforts to create a cleaner environment.
According to reports, the gesture honors the Buz Stop Boys’ exceptional contributions over the years.
“We will support them, give them equipment and support them grow better. By next week, we will call them to give them the equipment,” he said.
Following this commitment, he was told by a staff member that they had already worked with them twice but that they still required additional assistance.
Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the nation’s top waste management company, provided the Buz Stop Boys with logistical and technical support in March 2024.
They received logistical support in the form of a skip truck, shovels, aboboya tricycles, and an extra staff member who joined them in cleaning parts of Accra.
