Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a candidate in the 2024 general elections, will visit Nayiri’s Palace in Nalerigu today, July 10, 2024, to seek the blessings of the King of Mamprugu before embarking on a tour of the North East Region.
Lawyer Sulley Sambian, the NPP’s North East Region Regional Secretary, has announced that the Vice President will spend two days in the region, holding rallies and engaging with different groups.
“The visit of the Vice President to the North East Region will mark the beginning of the second phase of his nationwide campaign tour. Being a son of the North East Region, the Vice President and his campaign team have thought it wise to come home to seek blessings from his father the Nayiri first before embarking on his campaign tour of the North and the nation for that matter,” a statement signed by lawyer Sulley Sambian noted.
“As part of the two-day campaign visit to the region, His Excellency the Vice President will be touring the Nalerigu/Gambaga constituency, the Yunyoo constituency and the Bunkpurugu constituency on Wednesday the 10th July, 2024.
Next, the team plans to establish a connection between the Chereponi and Bunkpurugu constituencies on Thursday, July 11 ,” the statement added, urging all party faithful and support to be present and show their support.
