Greater Accra will see massive road works – Asenso Boakye

Communities within the Greater Accra Region such as Galilea, Fulani area, Adu Gyamfi Area, Ante Aku, Anyaa – Sowutuom, Pentecost University, Israel, Tesano and Weija are benefiting from massive road infrastructure projects.

These projects include the rehabilitation of 17.5km of roads in GA Central Municipality which is 75 per cent completed; asphalting of selected roads in Okaikei North and South Municipalities, 15.7 per cent completed; the rehabilitation of CP New Gbawe Road which is 46 per cent completed; the rehabilitation of selected roads in weija and Gbawe Area 77 per cent completed; and the construction of a bridge over the Weija dam.

Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye inspected the progress of work on these projects as part of his 2-day working visit to the Greater Accra Region.

The Minister also inspected deplorable roads within these municipalities and assured residents that the government is committed to improving their road network through its “impact project programme.”
