I can be trusted to improve Free SHS,TVET if elected president – Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, promises that his administration will preserve and enhance the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Free Senior High School (SHS) programs.

Speaking on Sunday at the NPP’s manifesto launch in Takoradi, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the vital role that these educational programs have in the future of the country’s youth and in the growth of the nation.

He declared that regardless of their financial situation, every Ghanaian child would have access to high-quality education under his administration.

 

He stated that in order to give our youth greater opportunity, his administration would keep funding and improving the Free SHS and TVET programs, which are the cornerstones of the nation’s educational system.

The Vice President announced a number of impending initiatives to support these programs, such as more financing, better facilities, and the launch of new curriculum made to satisfy the needs of the contemporary labor market.

In order to guarantee that more students can take advantage of vocational training and develop the skills required for a variety of industries, he also discussed plans to increase access to TVET programs.

“We will protect and enhance the free SHS/TVET, which is truly transforming lives and changing life outcomes for millions,” he noted.
