Ghanaians have been cautioned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo not to support the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the forthcoming elections on December 7.
President Akufo-Addo claimed that supporting John Dramani Mahama and the NDC would undo the country’s gains and bring poverty and underdevelopment back.
Speaking at the Tema Motorway extension sod-cutting ceremony, President Akufo-Addo emphasized that Mahama and the NDC do not have a fresh vision for the nation.
He urged people to vote against them at the polls, emphasizing how important it is to keep Ghana’s growth momentum going.
“We are going forward. We are not going back to the era of stagnation and non-performance. We are going forward with [Dr. Mahamudu] Bawumia to a better, more inclusive and more prosperous Ghana,” the President asserted.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has the strongest endorsement from President Akufo-Addo to lead Ghana’s growth. He emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity in administration to guarantee the nation’s ongoing progress.
