Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has shared why he believes he should be elected as Ghana’s next president in the coming four years.
Speaking on Adwene Pa on Original TV, he mentioned feeling called by God to lead the nation and outlined his plans to create jobs and build wealth for Ghanaians.
He pointed out the challenges facing Ghana, which he attributed to past leaders who failed to invest in the people.
Kofi Akpaloo promised that, if elected, he would focus on research and development.
He said, “I will invest heavily in education and transform Ghana into an educational tourism hub, where people from all over the world can come to learn.” He believes this will position Ghana as a leader for the best education on the continent.
According to him, he will make Ghana education free from primary school to university for every Ghanaian who is ready to learn.
He explained that his plan includes making computer programming and coding compulsory for all students from class one through senior high school. He believes this will help students develop skills to create opportunities for themselves after school.
He stated that an educated person can earn more money and contribute more in taxes, which will support the country’s development, and explained his implementation of free education will make this possible if he is elected into office on December 7.
In addition to education, Kofi Akpaloo revealed plans to establish a $10 billion job fund. This fund would provide loans to young people, helping them pursue their ideas and create their businesses.
In his closing remarks, the LPG flagbearer expressed his desire to transform Ghana into a land of opportunities, where citizens can be self-sufficient and contribute to the country’s overall economic growth.
