Ignite Media Group’s top disc jockey, Daniel Mensah Badu, who goes by the moniker DJ Aberga, has achieved an unparalleled feat at the Ghana DJ Awards, clinching the Video Disc Jockey of the Year award for three consecutive years.
DJ Aberga has since 2022 beat off tough competition to earn the highly coveted award back-to-back.
This triumph builds upon his existing record, having already secured the Mixtape Disc Jockey of the Year title three years running, winning in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
DJ Aberga’s infectious energy, masterful mixing skills, and undeniable chemistry as co-host of Original Video Mix & Request, have endeared him to music enthusiasts nationwide.
His unquestionable commitment to excellence and deep understanding of Ghanaian audiences have earned him the six consecutive Ghana DJ Awards.

The Ghana DJ Awards, organized by Merqury Republic, aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding DJs in the country.
