Former Black Stars player Prince Tagoe has linked Joseph Paintsil’s difficulties with the Black Stars to his relationship with Tema Youth Bankroller, Osei Kwaku Palmer.
According to Prince Tagoe, Joseph Paintsil is better than many Black Stars players, but because of his relationship with Osei Kwaku Palmer, he has failed to receive regular call-ups.
Prince Tagoe says he doesn’t know what it will take to get Paintsil to be a constant in the senior national team.
“Joseph Paintsil was dropped from the final squad of the 2022 World Cup all because of Osei Palmer is going to benefit,” Prince Tagoe told Gideon Okyere Anim on Accra-based Original FM 91.9.
“It is an open secret that, the Tema Youth FC owner and the Ghana Football Association president are not in good terms after the Ghana Football Association elections which Kurt emerged as winner,”he said.
