Jospong builds staff capacity through AI training

The Jospong Group of Companies has trained a sizable portion of its employees in Artificial Intelligence (AI), marking a huge advancement in using technology to propel corporate expansion.

This strategic step by Jospong establishes AI as the primary driver for research, development, and the optimization of its business processes throughout Africa, marking a significant milestone in the company’s push for innovation and business development.

With the goal of promoting AI-driven solutions for sustainable prosperity in Africa, the Vanuatu Trade Commission to Ghana launched the AiAfrica Project, an AI training program that is proudly funded by the African Diaspora Central Bank.

Approximately 30,000 people have been trained by the project in Ghana thus far, and Jospong is the first significant private sector organization to benefit from it, having already trained 400–600 managers.

The AiAfrica team gave the Jospong staff access to state-of-the-art AI knowledge under the direction of Dr. David King Boison, a Maritime and Port Expert, who spearheaded the training program.

Jospong will also create an AI Department and Research Center as part of this innovative effort to lead AI-driven operations and solutions throughout the continent.

The Jospong Group, which has 82 businesses and operates in 19 countries across 17 industries, likewise hopes to increase operational efficiency, cut costs, and provide better services to its stakeholders by utilizing AI.

The business is also anticipated to significantly contribute to Ghana’s 24-hour economy policy by using AI to increase operational efficiency.
