Koku Anyidoho celebrates late Mills’ birthday at Asomdwe Park

A unique celebration was held in honor of the late former president John Evans Atta Mills’ 80th birthday by the former head of communications at the White House.

At the late president’s final burial site, “Asomdwe Park” in Accra, Samuel Koku Anyidoho joined the late president’s maternal family to celebrate the momentous day.

The late President’s 80th birthday was celebrated to the glory of God with singing, dancing, and stirring prayers.

The family gave him a Holy Bible as a birthday present because he was a devout Christian who never wavered in his devotion for God and the Bible.

Obaahemaa Nana Enifua III, Kyidomhemaa of the Odomna Ebusua and Ebusuapanyin Kobina Biney, led the Clan Heads to the celebration on behalf of the Ekumfi Odomna family from Ekumfi Otuam.

The Atta-Mills Institute’s founder and CEO, Mr. Anyidoho, expressed sincere gratitude to the family for bearing their cross in the face of taunts and deplorable vilification.

“He was a very good man and I can’t stop appreciating what he did for me so no matter how heavy the cross is, I have chosen to carry it to the glory of God and country. I know that in this 12th year of the painful death of my political father, my cross shall land on Calvary for redemption/salvation to crown my determination and resilience” Mr. Anyidoho added.
