Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, has on Wednesday, 31st July, 2024 appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on Assurances to provide updates on commitments made by his ministry to the House.
During the session, Minister Jinapor detailed the comprehensive measures being undertaken to meet these assurances. Key initiatives include enhancing security in and around the Achimota Forest and protecting public lands across the nation, which are vested in the President of the Republic on behalf of the people of Ghana.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress, Minister Jinapor emphasized the government’s dedication under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo. He assured the Committee of the ministry’s unwavering commitment to its mandate and its readiness to remain transparent and accountable to the public.
“We remain committed to delivering on our mandate and will continue to avail ourselves for public scrutiny in the spirit of transparency and accountability,” Minister Jinapor affirmed.
