Mahama begins two-day campaign tour of Greater Accra region ahead of December polls

John Dramani Mahama, the former president, has begun his two-day #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.

In the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Old Ningo is where the tour started today. It will continue to important locations like Kpone Katamanso, Tema Central, and Tema East.

Mr. Mahama is expected to interact with voters throughout the visit by holding talks with important stakeholders, conducting a number of community-based programs, and doing focused outreach in both the formal and informal sectors.

He wants to solve urgent issues and deepen ties with local communities, especially as the nation gets ready for the general elections in 2024.

The former president will meet with local leaders and citizens on the first day to discuss his plan to refocus the country’s goals and instill hope.

The Greater Accra visit is an essential component of a broader national initiative to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the run-up to the 2024 elections, according to his spokesman Joyce Bawah Mogtari. A dedication to alleviating economic challenges and promoting development in local communities around the area is emphasized in Mahama’s message of change.
